ROSH HASHANA SUGGESTIONS

This year Rosh Hashana the Jewish new year comes out on Satuday night the 16th of September and will be observed through Sunday night the 17th of Sepember 2023.

Keep in mind that if one forgets to prepare anything that is needed for a medical condition, the Rabbis usually allow it.  It is advisable to check with your Rabbi.

Some of the things that one might want to prepare in advance:

Open all packages before the holiday

Fill your pump to the maximum

Change your batteries in order to avoid having to do it on the holiday and remember we were told that one IS allowed to change batteries if needed.

Since one might be in the synagogue for extended hours it is advisable to prepare testing supplies, food and even snack and/or Winkies in case of low blood sugar to take along.

If one does not have drinks available in the synagogue, it is advisable to have a bottle of water and not go for a few hours without drinking.

REMEMBER: FAILING TO PREPARE MEANS PREPARING TO FAIL!!
